Everyday - an uphill battle
the constant pressure - a constant attack
weight of the world is on your shoulders
like a seething beast on your back
skeletons in your closet
the devil's in your head
there are demons in that bottle
telling you, you're better off dead
everyday - a struggle to survive
lick the wounds from the previous night
picking up the pieces - a neverending war
and you always lose that fight
everyday is a struggle just to get out of your bed
increased levels of intoxication
it's a miracle you're not dead
It's a miracle you're still alive
Depression - a constant
Of the whole that you got yourself into
neverending cycle of torment
years of damage that's hard to undo
this lifestyle will be detrimental
it will be a disaster in the end
ending with the worst day of my life
it will be the day i lose my friend - NO!
